The night

What the night is like

For many campers a first night away is the big question, so here is how ours goes.

  • Cabins

Campers sleep in wooden cabins by age, with counselors who sleep in the cabin too. Bunks, cubbies and a screened porch are the whole room.

  • Lights out

Quiet time starts after cabin time, and counselors stay until everyone is settled. A camper who can't sleep can talk to the counselor.

  • If a camper needs something

Night staff walk the paths on a set schedule, and the health center keeps a night line that reaches the nurse.
